Mission:

  • To strengthen the INUUC community using Spokane Alliance practices and to help the INUUC community achieve its focus on social justice issues in the Inland Northwest

Aims:

  • To enhance the relational culture at INUUC by having 1:1 relational meetings with INUUC members
  • To strengthen INUUC through regular leadership training, using the Spokane Alliance model of 1:1 relational meetings, offered in collaboration with the Leadership Development Circle
  • To periodically conduct listening sessions for the Spokane Alliance to discern the pressures affecting our community’s members and to identify those interested in working on these issues with the Spokane Alliance
  • To assist other INUUC Circles to discern members’ thoughts on important INUUC questions identified by their Circle, through the Spokane Alliance model of listening sessions
  • To teach other INUUC Circles the Spokane Alliance model of listening sessions so that they can discern members’ thoughts on important INUUC questions identified by their Circle
  • To coordinate INUUC member involvement in Spokane Alliance action focused on issues such as housing, healthcare, child care, truth and reconciliation with indigenous cultures and jobs
  • To communicate regularly with the Leadership Development Circle and the Social Justice Circle
