Leadership Development Circle
Circle Domain:
We provide leadership development and support opportunities to members and friends of INUUC.
Circle Mission:
We will cultivate a thriving, engaged, open, honest, congregation that has a culture of abundance and sabbatical, where we encourage all people to develop their gifts.
Circle Aims:
- Provide training opportunities for leaders and congregants
- Provide on-going support and training to the Governing Circle
- Dynamic Governance training for new members
- Offer training to members as needed
- Facilitator training
- Offer Leadership Moment for Coordinating Circle each month (5 minutes)
- Provide on-going support and training to the Governing Circle
- Collaborate with other Circles to enhance a thriving, engaged, open and honest congregation
- Support a Right Relations Team
- Work with Spokane Alliance Circle
- 1:1 Conversations e.g., Spokane Alliance Model, Spring and Fall
- Offer an annual member workshop on a relevant topic
- Support the Small Group Ministry Program
- Serve as Congregational Nominating team
- Provide timeline, job descriptions, criteria for selection of all elected positions
- Review annually
- Maintain calendar with deadlines
- Review annually
- Identify candidates
- Request bios
- Advertise candidates 6 weeks (?) prior to annual meeting in newsletter
