Through worship, fellowship, activism and volunteering, the members and friends of the INUUC are creating community and giving life to our church. We strive to be progressive, inclusive, embrace diversity, and offer a unique spiritual experience, while also focusing on social justice issues in the Inland Northwest.

We recognize the importance of sustaining our community — and the principles of the Unitarian Universalist living tradition — by giving our time, talent and treasure in ways that are meaningful and sustainable for each of us. Please join us.

Each spring, our Stewardship Circle asks members and friends to make a pledge of support to INUUC for the coming fiscal year. Our annual pledges are for the period starting July 1 and ending the following June 30. Many people pay their pledges monthly, some pay quarterly, and some annually or on another schedule. Whatever works for each person/family is fine.

By pledging a recurring gift, you help provide a reliable source of revenue for an ongoing thriving community.

INUUC also welcomes both one-time gifts and recurring gifts from those who don’t wish to make a pledge. Anyone is welcome to make a financial contribution to INUUC at any time – and there are many ways to do this.

How to pay your pledge or make a donation to INUUC:

  • You can set up a one-time or recurring payment through your bank or credit union bill pay program. You pick the amount and the schedule, and your bank/credit union will send a check to INUUC. This is a free service normally offered to anyone who has a checking account – it does not cost either you or the church anything. The bank/credit union even pays the postage.

To use your bank or credit union’s bill pay program, the following information may be helpful. If you have questions, please contact treasurer@inuuc.org.

Company – INUUC
Acct # – Your name
Address:  411 S Washington St., Spokane, WA  99204

  • You can mail a check or money order made out to INUUC, 411 S Washington St., Spokane, WA  99204
  • You can put a check, money order, or cash in the basket during an in-person church service. If you use cash and want it credited to a pledge, please put the cash in an envelope along with your name.
  • You can make a one time or recurring donation online at this link – INUUC Breeze. You select one time or a recurring schedule, and whether you wish to use a credit or debit card or set up an ACH transfer from your bank. All on-line donations have associated fees for processing, and there is an option for the donor to choose to cover a portion of those fees. If you have questions, or issues, please contact treasurer@inuuc.org, or call Marie at 509-220-0986 for help.
  • You can text a non-pledge donation to: (509) 285-0770 and simply enter the amount of your gift in whole dollars. You will be prompted to enter additional information.
  • If you are over 70 ½ and have retirement funds in an IRA type account, your donation can come out of that IRA tax free and go directly to the church. You don’t pay taxes on the withdrawal, but you don’t get a tax deduction for the donation either. This is called a qualified charitable distribution and is easily set up through your IRA manager or broker. Most people who use this option pay their annual pledge all at one time. Talk to your investment advisor, contact treasurer@inuuc.org, or call Marie directly at 509-220-0986 for more information.
  • Other ways to give to INUUC: Gifts of stock and planned gifts such as bequests are welcome and appreciated. Please contact the INUUC Endowment Circle endowment@inuuc.org for guidance.
