Pastoral support and services for church members and friends in need.

Mission:

• Pastoral Care members offer non-professional emotional, social, and spiritual support during difficult times. With help from members, we coordinate services for specific needs among our congregants. We provide a ministry of hope and caring so that no member of our congregation needs to feel alone

Aims:

• Provide a listening, caring ear
• Give referrals to professional pastoral care and/or community resources
• Help with memorial services, i.e., food, presence at service, etc.
• Cultivate and maintain a medical supply lending list
• Help coordinate volunteers to provide short terms needs such as:
  • Transportation to church, medical appointments, etc.Short errands, such as picking up groceries or medications
  • Some meals
