Soul Weaving Circle update: The future of our Sunday Services is under discussion – whether to keep virtual or move to some mix of virtual and a multi-platform model. We are committed to maintaining a virtual option for services.
The Soul Weaving Circle sees many advantages to maintaining virtual services, including wider access to speakers from across the country, more music choices, cost savings compared to in-person services. Ideas include:

  • Hosting an in-person mid-week evening multi-generational meal and service or activity
  • Holding social gatherings in person with services online
  • Religious Education and social gatherings for children and youth in person
  • Adult education sessions once or twice a month in lieu of services on Sunday morning
  • Starting Sunday services at 10:30 rather than the current 9:30

Nothing is decided at this point, and the Circle plans discussions and input from the community before any changes are made. We ask community members to consider options and what might work best for all of us.

Newly elected Board members take office on July 1. Updated bylaws will be published prior to the end of the month. Minutes from the Annual Meeting will be provided to the Board. Congratulations to all of us!
