Notes from the Right Relations Team

We note that our Covenant is our sacred promise of good relations, where we “choose to embrace imperfection and curiosity…” What a wonderful community we have joined, where we don’t have to be perfect, nor do our fellow UU’s.

And when we have a disagreement or disappointment with another member, we are fortunate to have the will and the tools to address the situation. The Right Relations Team’s purpose is to facilitate the well being of our members by fostering harmonious relations and mediating conflicts within the membership. All activities of the Team are confidential.

As part of our acknowledged imperfection, is natural for us to want to be “right,” but no one is ever completely right and no one is ever completely wrong. The Team’s role is to help people to listen to one another to restore relationships, not to come to an agreement. They can agree to disagree, but not let it affect their relationship.

Members of the team include Linda Moulder, Erin Fitzgerald, Mary Anne Winniford, Phyllis Thayer, Kathryn Alexander, and Lee Dominey. Please feel to contact any one of them at any time.
