| YOYOT SP’Q’N’I is our Spotlighted Nonprofit for January and February. Their mission statement is “We want to uplift by being compassionate and with dedication to help others thrive by advocating for our Indigenous communities and prevent MMIW (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women) or MMIP (Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons). We will do this by providing a safe place that is culturally accommodating and will focus on trauma informed healing along with other services like SUD treatment and case management and support food sovereignty.
