with Sarah Dixit from Pro-Choice WA
Join us at the Rockwood Community Center or on Zoom
Sarah will share the ways in which the reproductive freedom movement is aligned with the calling of loving our neighbors. She will provide a perspective of why abortion is part of justice work, and how faith is not antithetical to one’s bodily autonomy and agency.
Sarah is an organizer and advocate in the Pacific Northwest, focusing on reproductive freedom, racial justice, and equity over the past 7 years. Currently, Sarah is the Organizing Director at Pro-Choice Washington, an independent reproductive freedom advocacy organization that does statewide and regional work. She moved to Spokane in 2014, where she attended Whitworth University and received her degree in Sociology. Along with her work at Pro-Choice Washington, she is the chair for the City of Spokane’s Equity Subcommittee and the board president of Asians for Collective Liberation.
