As Water in a Hard World

We return to community together with Water Communion and the ethical principles that unite us. Asking “How can I best love and remain connected to myself and others?”, the reflection explores Asian and UU wisdom to tackle the enduring question of how to be soft and gentle in a hard, rigid world given our commitment to pluralism.

Clark A. Pomerleau, he/him, is a third-year Soul Weaving Circle member for INUUC. He left Spokane to teach for 25 years in two southern public universities and returned home in 2020 to help his parents. He’s happy to have found wonderful local UUs. When not fretting over service details, Clark enjoys time with his husband and cats, visits with his Dad, biking, making music or art, and reading.
