A Permanent Home – American Indian Community Center

Join us at Rockwood Community Center or on Zoom

Linda Lauch, the Executive Director of the American Indian Community Center (AICC) will be sharing the rich history of the AICC and its plans for a permanent home near the ancestral fishing grounds of the Spokane Tribe of Indians. AICC was founded in 1967 as a gathering place for urban Indians. Its mission is to provide comprehensive social and economic development services for all racial groups in the Spokane community.

I have the pleasure of introducing our INUUC Community to Linda Lauch, the Executive Director of the American Indian Community Center.  Linda has held this role for 38 plus years, and as you will hear has been involved in the Center since she was a child.  She currently is leading this service organization during an exciting time.  The Center is planning for its first permanent home at the confluence of Latah Creek and the Spokane River. We are honored to have Linda, Stephanie Sijohns and Sunni Lu Lewis with us today to tell us about AICC and the plans for their permanent home.
