The Spokane nonprofit Spotlighted for June is the Salish School.

The mission of the Salish School of Spokane is to promote Dynamic Salish Language Revitalization powering cultural renewal and building a stronger, healthier community. It is a Native Language Immersion School that provides immersion education to 58 students whose ages range from one year old to sixteen years old. Parents learn Salish language as well. Community classes are offered to anyone who would like to learn.
