INUUC Holiday Party activity was a HUGE success thanks to so many INUUC folks getting involved in all kinds of ways. It takes a village and yesterday “INUUC Village” showed up with love and compassion!

- Thank you to all who stuffed the houseless gift bags!
- Thank you to all who wrote heartfelt, empowering, loving notes for each bag recipient to find in the sacks!
- Thank you to INUUC members and Joys and Justice for donating to the purchase of bus passes!
- Thank you to those who helped carry loads out to Ann-Scott’s car so she could drop the bags off at JHH for distribution!
- Thank you to those who cleaned up and recycled bags and cardboard to lessen our impact on the planet!
- Thank you to Rockwood and INUUC members for tasty food to nourish us as we worked!
- Thank you to Wendy and our talented musicians for keeping “spirits bright”!
- Thank you to the FUN Circle for their work organizing the party!
We donated over 55 bags filled with: 1 pair of socks, 2 pairs of gloves, 2 pairs of underwear, hand warmers, toe warmers, rain poncho, space blanket, 1 water, 1 roll toilet paper, antiperspirant, neck warmer, nail clippers, several types of granola bars, holiday chocolates, pencils and notepads, playing cards, toothbrush and toothpaste, and an all day bus pass or 2! Awesome winter magic! Let’s do it again soon, or how about making 200 PB&J sandwiches after church next time? Let me know if you’d like to do something like this again and can help organize it!
