Dear INUUC Members,
It is with great joy that we announce that INUUC and the Spokane Friends Meeting have mutually agreed to a space-sharing partnership. This change will offer INUUC a long-term space that will deepen community, live into our values of flexibility and cooperation, and position INUUC for sustainable growth.
Please see below for more information about the Relocation Team’s work and how we came to this moment.
Next steps:
- Our last service at Rockwood will be on September 28.
- Our first service at the Spokane Friends Meeting will be on October 12.
We need your help!
We are looking for volunteers to help with the moving process. That could look like physical help with moving, or it could also include supporting the logistics of the move and our transition into the space. If you’re interested in helping with our move, please email futurehome@inuuc.org.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this process possible! We are humbled and delighted by the depth of engagement from our congregation throughout this process. From attending site visits, bringing potluck items, joining virtual information sessions, filling out surveys, and sharing your perspectives, this has been a community process every step of the way.
We also want to give a sincere and enthusiastic THANK YOU to the Relocation Team. They have worked tirelessly for the last year and a half to bring us to this moment. Thank you for your resilience, persistence, patience, and vision as you created this opportunity for our community. This marks a major moment in the life of INUUC. It was possible because of your work.
In gratitude,
INUUC Governing Circle
