The best plan is to contact the SHIBA program in Eastern Washington. SHIBA stands for Statewide Health Insurance Benefits Advisors. I (Frances) used them to help navigate Medicare plans during open enrollment. The Insurance Commissioner’s office said SHIBA could also provide in-person assistance to people needing accommodations and support for insurance related matters including sign-ups. Their number here in Eastern WA is 509-625-4801.
