Climate Justice Revival

Did you miss the UU Climate Justice Revival Service and “Organizing Hour”?

Below you’ll find a recap, important links for follow-up, and ideas for the future!

Kathryn Alexander and I hope that this is only a first step, and one that many in our INUUC family will be inspired to reach out and say “Hey, we’re going to Land Council’s event to plant trees! Want to join us?” or “Have you heard about Soil Smart? Want to go to the workshop together?”

Let us reimagine a new era together! Reimagining together is how we overcome fear. Reimagining together is how we build new relationships and a new era, putting love at the center. Today, especially, we put love at the center of our work for climate justice and committed to doing this work together.

Here is the recorded sermon we heard today from Rev. Arif Mamdani, Associate Minister at First Universalist Church of Minneapolis. Many requested the link.

Here is a link to the Action Handout that Kathryn put together on upcoming Climate Justice events and activities. Call and invite a friend to one or more! Post an invitation in the Newsletter!

We hope this is the beginning of a conversation and more community activities centered on reimagining how what brings us joy can be interconnected with what our community needs, and what we each have to offer. May it be so.
