Dear Spokane area advocates,
In just a few days we will be gathering to write postcards to our legislators. I hope that you can join us January 16, 2024 from 10–11 a.m. at Westminster Congregational United Church of Christ (411 S Washington St. Spokane, WA)! We will gather and discuss issues of concern for our communities and the corresponding legislation followed by writing postcards to our legislators sharing those priorities. There will also be some time to discuss FAN’s legislative agenda and more ways to advocate. If you have not already, please email me (Brianna) if you plan to attend.
Also, don’t forget to register for the Eastern Washington Legislative Conference on January 27 and Interfaith Advocacy Day on February 8! Click here to see the event flyer, please share!
If you live in the third legislative district and can’t make it to the event—or even if you can—the third district legislators will be having a tele-townhall January 16 at 7 p.m. You can find more information and directions for calling in using this link. Let’s make sure our legislators pass policies that align with our values of justice and compassion this session!
Stay warm! In peace and solidarity, In peace and solidarity,
