Caring for our 2SLGBTQIA+ Community with Spectrum Center
How is our queer and trans community being cared for here in Spokane? Hear from Staff at Spectrum Center and a local Spectrum program participant on who is Spectrum and what role they play in the necessary and holistic care of our 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
August Morigeau (they/them) is the Director of Development with Spectrum Center. With a background of labor organizing, August is helping Spectrum to open a physical center so we can provide necessary and holistic services in a queer space.
Anne Johnson (she/they) is the Director of Community Care at Spectrum Center and combines a background of working in direct services with true love for the community that we serve. She oversees our community health workers, Gender Affirming Products Program (G.A.P.P.) and helps connect individuals with community resources and health based services.
Gus Dinsmore (he/they) is a Spokane based transmasc community member who has utilized Spectrum services such as the G.A.P.P. program. You’ll often see Gus testifying at City Council and advocating for the rights and wellbeing of their community.
