(El Amor No Conoce Fronteras)
On December 10th, 2018, faith leaders from around the country joined together at the U.S.-Mexico border in solidarity with the migrant caravan and all who seek refuge in this country, calling for humane immigration policies as well as an end to the detention and deportation of immigrants and the militarization of border communities. Rev. Crystal was one of hundreds who answered the call. She shares with us her experience of the Love Knows No Borders moral action as it relates to our current context of immigration and refugee resettlement.
The Reverend Crystal Zerfoss received her Master of Divinity degree from Seattle University School of Theology and Ministry. She most recently served the Community Unitarian Universalist Church in Pasco, Washington and the Juneau Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, in Juneau, Alaska. An avid biker and kayaker, Rev. Crystal is currently recovering from a traumatic brain injury. She joins us today from her home in Kennewick, which she shares with her darling feline companion, Ella.
