We Need Help for the OWL Class—It’s Almost Here!

The OWL team is busy training (a total of 30 hours over the next 3 weeks!) and preparing for our Kindergarten/First Grade sessions in April–May. Our parent/children orientation is March 27 and we need some help pulling it all together. Each of these is a multi-person task—perhaps you and some friends can self-organize? Please RSVP or direct questions to Phyllis Thayer.

  • Spaghetti dinner for 20: spaghetti (plain, cooked), marinara sauce (vegetarian), meat balls, grated cheese, some cut-up veggies and dip, cooked broccoli, salad & dressing
  • Books required by our curriculum. UUCS has listed the needed books on a “wish list” website https://wishingtreebookstore.com/gift-registry/eAQ6fwajcCo. If ordering from the “wish list” please do that early so that we can get them ordered, delivered, and picked up by March 25.
  • Ongoing snacks for 10 teachers and kids for the eight-week class. Or cash donations and we will purchase.

Thanks in advance for your help. Together, we can do great things!
